The driver of a sedan was killed when he crossed into the path of a cement truck in Larimer County today.
His name was not released. The sedan was going south on Larimer County Road 19 when the vehicle crossed over to the northbound lane and hit the Kenworth cement truck about a mile north of 57th Street, southwest of Fort Collins.
The Chevy sedan then burst into flames. It burned the cement truck, as well as starting a small grass fire.
The cement-truck driver was not injured, according to the state patrol.
The road was closed for several hours for investigation following the crash at 5:14 p.m., according to the Colorado State Patrol.
