The death of a man who was punched during a confrontation is being investigated as a homicide.

The Larimer County Coroner’s Office performed an autopsy on the body of Nathan Engle today and ruled the 24-year-old’s death a homicide, according to a coroner’s media release.

Engle, of Fort Collins, died of a blunt force head injury, the coroner’s office said.

Engle, who was punched during a confrontation, was pronounced brain-dead Sunday, and his organs were donated Monday, according to the Fort Collins Coloradoan.

Local police arrested 24-year-old Terance Wilson of Fort Collins immediately following the assault early Saturday.

Police said they are looking for other people involved in the incident.
