COLORADO SPRINGS — A soldier from Fort Collins was killed Sunday in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Chief Warrant Officer Kenneth R. White, 35, who died in a crash in Khost province on Sunday, was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division.
Also killed in the crash was Chief Warrant Officer Bradley J. Gaudet, 31, of Gladewater, Texas. Both were stationed at Fort Drum, N.Y.
