A Colorado Springs woman is warning neighbors to beware of a coyote after it attacked her outside her home.
She described the coyote as thin and appearing to be sick.
Her condo is described as being in the Fontmore area. Fontmore Road is the extension of Fillmore after it crosses Mesa Road on the west side of Colorado Springs.
Kerwin said she and a friend were gardening outside her condo Friday afternoon. Her friend stepped away for a moment and Kerwin looked up to see a coyote just inches away.
