FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Construction of a new home for the Fort Collins Museum-Discovery Science Center may come to a halt unless the city can come up with nearly $4 million.
The city says it is exploring options, including taking out loans from the city’s reserves funds or seeking funding from private-sector lenders.
The $20 million museum is expected to open in 2012.
So far, construction of the building has been on time and under budget, according to the Fort Collins Coloradoan.
