FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Colorado State University is teaming up with a university in Shanghai on research into energy and the environment.
Colorado State said Friday that it is joining with East China Normal University in creating the Joint Research Institute for New Energy and the Environment. Colorado State already collaborates with East China Normal on student exchange programs and research in a number of other areas.
CSU President Tony Frank says the universities are working on building an international alliance of scholars and scientists to work across borders on various challenges facing the world. The joint institute will focus on science, technology, police and education related to energy and the environment.
