BASALT — Basalt police received phone calls Sunday afternoon after witnesses said they saw a body floating face down in the river. The SwiftWater rescue team was activated. A male body was recovered near the Hooks Bridge.
The name of the victim is not being released pending family notification.
Foul play is not suspected.
