OMAHA — The modest home where Omaha billionaire Warren Buffett spent the first six years of his life is up for sale.

The sales price for the two-bedroom Sears “kit” home is $120,000.

Buffett’s parents, Howard and Leila, moved into the house soon after they were married in 1925.

The Omaha World-Herald is reporting that the current owner is 34-year-old Jennifer Smedley, who used to work in Omaha and now lives in Venice, Calif.

Smedley says she bought the house in 1999 and lived in it for five years. She rented it out after moving to California.

Smedley says she had always planned on moving back to Omaha, but that no longer seems likely. She says it doesn’t make sense to hang on to the house any longer.
