CENTENNIAL, Colo.—Homeowners in Centennial are just saying no to a new cell phone towers that will provide the latest technology to southern metro Denver.
Homeowners say they weren’t notified that new cell towers would be installed to increase 4G coverage.
A state of the art 40-foot 4G cell tower is already being built near the home of Teri Hjelmstad, who told KDVR-TV said she is worried about health hazards from the transmitters.
Verizon Wireless is building a similar tower less than a mile away.
Verizon says it followed all the regulations and tried to keep neighbors informed throughout the process at community meetings before construction began
