COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The U.S. Forest Service says there will be no more warnings for people ignoring fire restrictions in the Pikes Peak Ranger District.

Fire Prevention Officer Dawn Sanchez says signs make it clear campfires are not allowed, but people are ignoring the fire ban.

Sanchez says violators will receive a $325 ticket.

Sanchez tells KRDO-TV the agency issued 16 tickets in 2 days last week.
