Police in Montrose are teaming up with the Federal Bureau of Investigations in their search for a man who robbed a bank today.
According to a release from the agencies, the man showed a handgun at the Alpine bank on 1400 East Main Street, received money and then fled.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches in height, with a muscular build.
The man was unshaven and had sideburns.
Bank robbery carries up to a 20-year prison sentence per offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the crime.
