A pickup truck crashed into Clear Creek west of Golden early this morning and the driver was arrested on suspicion of drinking and driving.
The crash happened at about 3:45 a.m. on U.S. Highway 6 near Tunnel No. 1, said Trooper Heather Cobler, a Colorado State Patrol spokeswoman.
The driver, who was the only person in the truck, was not injured.
He was arrested on suspicion of DUI, Cobler said.
The highway was not closed by the incident.
