WALSENBURG, Colo.—Authorities in Walsenburg are investigating a shooting involving police officers.
The Huerfano County sheriff’s office says the shooting happened Thursday morning after a teen hit a police cruiser in the southern Colorado city.
KRDO-TV reports that when officers tried to arrest the teen, shots were fired. The officers have been placed on leave while the case is investigated.
