FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Fort Collins police say a fire this week at the apartment of a woman who jumped from a second-story window after she was assaulted was set intentionally.
Thirty-year-old Lydia Tillman has been hospitalized since the fire Tuesday, and investigators haven’t been able to speak to her.
Police said Friday that the Colorado Bureau of Investigation has been asked to help determine what type of accelerant was used in the fire.
Police say Tillman moved to Fort Collins from Longmont about one month ago and was living alone. She is a sales representative for Denver-based Natural Wine Co.
