Former Colorado Treasurer Cary Kennedy earned above average returns on the state’s cash investments between 2007 and 2010, Buck Global Investment Advisors reported to the state auditor.
Over that four-year period, a difficult one for financial markets, the state earned a 3 percent yield on its $6.7 billion in funds compared with a 2.3 percent return for a benchmark based on the one-year Treasury note, Buck said in a report released Tuesday.
