A Fort Collins man has been arrested on suspicion of firing a gun at a car with people inside of it, police said.
The incident, in which no one was shot, was fueled by alcohol, Fort Collins police said in a media release.
Seth Lee Allbrandt, 26, is being held at the Larimer County Jail on suspicion of illegal discharge of a firearm, a felony.
The incident happened at about 2:20 a.m. this morning in the Ramblewood Apartment complex, 173 Hillcrest Drive, police said.
Officers arrived after a report of shots fired and determined that Allbrandt had been drinking with some friends when a “physical altercation” ensued.
“When the party goers left the apartment, Allbrandt fired three shots from a handgun striking the car they were in,” police said.
No one was injured and police recovered a handgun from Allbrandt’s apartment.
