
Boulder police are searching for a man suspected of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman near 28th Street and Baseline Road early Saturday morning.
Police said a Boulder woman was walking alone to a fast food restaurant about 4:30 a.m. when she heard footsteps behind her. Police said a man grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her, breaking her arm in the process.
The victim was taken to the hospital and released.
Police say the suspect is “light-skinned black male with glasses and green eyes.” He is about 6 feet tall with a three-inch long light brown afro. The suspect wore a purple shirt with neon-green lettering and khaki pants at the time of the assault and might have had a pick in his hair, police said.
