Sunday’s promised and delivered a wild day in the sun with 14 bands, scantily-clad bodies and non-stop head-banging. Young and old rocked out equally hard to the heavy metal music at Comfort Dental Amphitheatre. The crowd found itself fighting through sweaty traffic in time to hear each band perform on one of the three stages. On such a heat-intensive, action-intensive day — and free cups provided — the lines to the water fountains closely rivaled those for beer and mixed drinks.
