Looking to make a difference in your life and the lives of others? Look into the advantages of the nursing program at CollegeAmerica.

In today’s economy, nursing continues to be a smart career choice as the demand for qualified healthcare workers increases. In fact, U.S. News & World Report listed “registered nurse” as one of its “50 Best Careers of 2011,” noting that the profession “should have strong growth over the next decade.”*

Graduates of CollegeAmerica’s Associate’s Degree in Nursing program are prepared with the skills and knowledge to become qualified nurses. The program combines classroom theory, patient care simulation, skills labs, clinical experiences and more. Following graduation, CollegeAmerica graduates are eligible to sit for the Registered Nurse NCLEX examination. Those who pass the NCLEX will be able to apply for licensure to practice as a registered nurse in any of the 50 states or U.S. territories.

There is a great need for qualified nurses to fill positions in:

  • Home care
  • Community and public health agencies
  • Independent practices
  • U.S. Public Health Service
  • Military services (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines)
  • Veteran’s Administration Medical Centers
  • Extended care centers
  • Clinics
  • Hospices
  • Occupational settings
  • Health and wellness centers

Classes start monthly and there is no waiting list for qualified applicants. The program takes only 20 months to complete and is only offered at the Denver campus. To get started, call CollegeAmerica at 800-773-2704 or visit collegeamerica.edu.

CollegeAmerica also offers career training in health care, business, graphic arts and information technology.
