GREELEY, Colo.—Prosecutors allege that the caretaker for a 101-year-old Greeley woman ran up several thousands dollars on the woman’s credit card without permission.

The Weld County district attorney’s office said Tuesday that 28-year-old Adrienne Stagner of Greeley was charged with theft from an at-risk person, identity theft and possession of methamphetamine.

Stagner was being held at the Weld County jail. It wasn’t known whether she had an attorney. No phone listing could be found for her.

Greeley police say the elderly woman’s grandson reported the unauthorized credit card charges on Thursday.
