Denver’s run of hot weather moved into a three-way tie for the second-most consecutive days with temperatures in the 90s, but the hot streak is expected to end today as rain and cooler temperatures move in, according to the National Weather Service in Denver. With Monday’s high topping out at 94, the city has hit 18 straight days of at least 90 degrees. That matches hot spells in 1901 and 1874. The record is 24 days in 2008.
