ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—Holding company Ascent Capital Group Inc. said Monday that it named Mike Meyers as its chief financial officer.
Meyers currently serves as CFO of Ascent’s Monitronics International Inc., a home security alarm monitoring company, and will continue to hold that position after he becomes Ascent’s CFO.
Meyers joined Monitronics in July 1996. He will succeed George Platisa, who is leaving Ascent following the sale of its media services business and the acquisition of Monitronics late last year.
Platisa will continue at the company through the end of August to help ensure a smooth transition, Ascent said.
