A resident of 433 Dickson St. was arrested Monday evening , accused of setting two fires to the home where she lives with her parents.
Taryn Nicole Lynch, 28, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree arson, first-degree arson, false reporting and two counts of child abuse, according to Longmont Police Cmdr. Jeff Satur.
Lynch was in custody at the Boulder County Jail on Monday night. Her bond amount was not yet available, according to a deputy.
She is suspected of starting a fire at about 2 a.m. July 19 in a car that was parked in the home’s driveway. Don Bennett, who owns the home and the car, told the Times-Call previously that the car was about 15 feet away from the house at the time. Police also believe that on July 27, Lynch set fire to a couch stored in the home’s garage, according to Satur.
