Castle Rock police arrested a man suspected of assaulting a woman in July.
Clifton Ray Williams, 37, was arrested early this morning in Castle Rock for investigation of kidnapping and aggravated assault, according to a news release from the Denver Police Department.
On July 24, a woman was walking in the 2200 block of South Broadway at 1:30 a.m., when Williams allegedly approached her from behind.
The woman reported feeling a sharp sting, which she believed was a stun gun.
Williams then allegedly grabbed the woman around the neck and attempted to drag her into an alley. The woman was able break free and call for help.
