Air Force senior Jonathan Warzeka, a pre-season All-Conference selection in the Mountain West, is one of 50 college players on the watch list for the 2011 Paul Hornung Award that is presented by Texas Roadhouse.
Warzeka also was named pre-season special teams Player of the Year in the Mountain West. He led the league last season in kickoff returns, averaging 28-7 yards a return. During his career, Warzeka has two 100-yard kickoff returns for touchdowns, one against Houston in the 2009 Armed Forces Bowl and another last season against CSU.
The award kis presented to players who show versatility and excel at multiple positions.
During the season last year, Warzeka compiled 103.8 all purpose yards per game to rank fifth in the league.
