Two men who robbed a Westminster bank this morning jumped a teller counter and flashed weapons during the heist, police said.
Premier Members Credit Union, 8440 Federal Blvd., was robbed when it opened for business this morning, according to a Westminster Police Department media release.
Investigators believe one of the two men who robbed the bank this morning has robbed it at least twice before, once in May and again in June.
Two men robbed the credit union in June and investigators believe they’re the same pair who hit the site this morning.
Police are concerned the robbers are becoming more brazen and potentially more violent.
One robber is described as a black man, between the ages of 25 to 30, 5-feet 9-inches tall and about 170 pounds with short, black hair. He wore dark pants with a rust-colored shirt and tie, and tennis shoes.
The second suspect is described as a black man, in his late-teens or early 20s, about 5-feet 8-inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black-and-white, striped polo shirt and dark pants.
The suspects fled on foot. Police say they may be using a newer-model, silver Toyota Sienna minivan.
Anyone with information on the robberies, or possible suspects, is asked to call Westminster police at 303 658-4360.
In the two previous robberies one of the suspects was dubbed the “Business Suit Bandit” because of the natty attire he wore in both robberies.
