Denver police hope surveillance pictures lead to the capture of a man who attempted to sexually assault a woman in a Denver Pavilions elevator bay about 1 a.m. Sunday.
The woman had gotten onto the elevator to the parking deck when the man followed her in, then followed her out at level P1.
He struck her and attempted to rape her, before running away north on the 16th Street Mall, police said.
He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and 130 to 140 pounds.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. There is a $2,000 reward.
