Federal Heights police said 49-year-old David Brachtenbach found dead in a Dumpster Wednesday morning had been kicked out his condominium the night before.
“He and his wife got into an argument about his excessive use of alcohol or whatnot,” said Lt. Gary Toldness.
The findings of an autopsy were inconclusive as to Brachtenbach’s cause of death, so investigators will wait on toxicology tests before a determination, Toldness said.
Brachtenbach was found at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the trash bin in the 1800 block of West 84th Avenue.
