ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A small plane carrying all three teachers for a remote village crashed in wilderness, killing the pilot and one teacher, a school official said Sunday.
The other two teachers and their two children survived, said Karen Ladegard of the Iditarod School District.
The crash closely follows two midair collisions in the state, including one that killed an Anchorage family of four.
State Troopers spokeswoman Beth Ipsen said survivors were flown to a hospital.
