ASPEN, Colo.—A Colorado Springs man has bought an Aspen cabin for $1, tax included.
David Tollefson previously purchased one of the cabins in March for $501, but he didn’t have the money for the other one.
According to the Aspen Daily News ( ), five other buyers backed out when they realized the difficulty and potential cost of transporting the 600-square-foot structure.
The cabins were part of the Deep Powder Lodge, which is being redeveloped by the Limelight Lodge.
