Front Range reservoirs, such as Pueblo, Aurora, Cherry Creek and Horsetooth, are producing for anglers fishing deep with slow presentations. Slow trolling a worm is a good tactic, as is fishing mud lines during high boat traffic. Top-water action has been decent for wiper, white bass and largemouth early or late. South Park waters are fly-fishing friendly, especially for those fishing slow and deep (3 to 6 feet) with nymphs under strike indicators. Antero and Jefferson are good choices. Rivers flows continue to drop, with good reports coming from the Eagle, Colorado and Arkansas. Try caddis in the evening.
