Denver Police are investigating a felony menacing and criminal mischief case at 4235 Eugene Way.
Just after midnight, police received a call about a suspect threatening a victim with a knife.
The suspect and the victim were arguing and are believed to be brothers, Det. John White said.
Their names are not being released.
As the argument escalated the suspect attempted to run over the victim with his car. The victim was unharmed, but his car was struck, White said. The damage to the vehicle is enough for a criminal mischief charge.
Police will collect statements from the two men involved and witnesses before presenting the case to the district attorney.
