A teen was struck by a passing car this afternoon on Federal Boulevard.
At approximately 1:45p.m., a 16-year-old was in the street at 2960 S. Federal Blvd., Det. John White said.
The driver of the car did stop after hitting the teen. The teen may have a broken leg, but none of the injuries appeared life-threatening, White said.
The gender of the teen, as well as of the driver, is not being released at this time. A traffic investigator will look into the incident and release more details later, White said.
