Firefighters extinguished a two-alarm fire at the Fox Bar in south Fort Collins late last night.
The call came in around 11 p.m. and when the first units arrived on scene, the fire had already broken through the roof of the one-story building, according to the Poudre Fire Authority.
Crews doused the fire from inside the building and cut a hole in the roof to combat the flames from above. A second alarm was sounded for the fire for additional help. A total of 29 firefighters were on scene.
The crews searched the bar to make sure no one was trapped in the facility. It is unknown if the business was open at the time of the fire.
The cause and origin of the fire in the wood-framed building is under investigation.
