VAIL, Colo.—A class-action lawsuit has been filed against a Denver company that has been dumping waste soil in the Eagle County landfill from its oil and gas drilling operations.
According to the Vail Daily ( ), the lawsuit filed against Antero Resources in Denver District Court on behalf of all 5,000 residents of Battlement Mesa alleges that Antero’s drilling operations threaten their health and well-being.
Antero has argued that their activities are not hazardous to residents’ health.
