DENVER—U.S. Senator Michael Bennet is getting a briefing on innovation and advances in the bioscience industry.
Bennet is touring the Colorado Science and Technology Park at Anschutz Medical Campus on Monday with Margaret Hamburg, commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration. He is also being joined by other members of Colorado’s congressional delegation.
Bennet says he hopes to modernize the FDA to cut the red tape.
