A car hit a pedestrian near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hudson Street about 10 p.m. last night, leaving the pedestrian with serious head injuries.
Medics took the pedestrian to Denver Health Medical Center while officers cited the driver for careless driving resulting in injury and driving without a valid license, Det. John White said.
Officers are continuing to investigate and at this point it’s “difficult to say” whether speed or alcohol were factors, White said.
Information about the driver and the pedestrian have not yet been released.
