A fire ravaged a two-car detached garage this afternoon in Bennett.
Around 4 p.m., the Bennett Fire Protection District and Arapahoe County Sheriff’s office responded to the intersection of South County Road 137 and East Dartmouth Avenue in Arapahoe County.
Nearby structures, including a home at 47904 E. Dartmouth Avenue, were not immediately threatened, Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said.
The fire was contained by 5:15 p.m., but the building containing machinery and stacks of hay was destroyed.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
