Thousands of people across the country are rallying behind three young children whose parents died while driving home from a family vacation in Colorado.
Joshua Berry, 41, and his wife Robin, 40, died on July 2 near Fort Stockton, Texas when another car crossed into their lane, hitting them head-on. They had been vacationing in Colorado Springs with their three children, who were also in the car and survived the crash.
Peter, 9, and Aaron, 8, suffered spinal cord injuries and are now paralyzed below the waist. Family members have been told he boys may never walk again. Willa, 6, had some broken bones. The children’s aunt and uncle are now their legal guardians.
Members of a synagogue in Alpharetta, Georgia held a festival on Sunday to benefit the three crash survivors.
