An Army special forces soldier in El Paso County was arrested on a charge of sexual exploitation of a child this afternoon, and police later found a grenade in his Widefield home.
The case against Radoslaw Jan Szczepanski, 47, was supported by pictures stored on his computer, Fountain police said this evening.
The grenade was collected by the Colorado Springs Police Department Regional Explosives Unit as other investigators executed a search warrant on the home.
According to his Facebook page, Szczepanski identifies himself as a special forces soldier who is originally from Newark, N.J., and studied at Virginia Military Institute.
