HOTCHKISS, Colo.—In an Aug. 27 story about Hotchkiss’ water supply, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the town told residents not to drink tap water for six months. Hotchkiss says the water is safe to drink and that it could take six months to formally certify compliance with water standards.
