The man arrested for allegedly robbing a King Soopers pharmacy Wednesday night was arrested in July on suspicion of robbing a different pharmacy across the street.
At 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were called to the King Soopers in the Standley Shores Shopping Center at 9983 Wadsworth Parkway after someone robbed the pharmacy and fled with prescription narcotics, said Trevor Materasso, a spokesman for the Westminster Police Department.
Shortly after, officers arrested Paul McQue Webb, 26, who was spotted hiding in Big Dry Creek.
Webb was released on bond earlier this week, after he was arrested July 15, for allegedly robbing a Walgreens pharmacy – located across the street from the King Soopers in Wednesday night’s robbery.
At 5:20 p.m., Webb allegedly robbed the Walgreens at gunpoint before he fled with narcotic pain pills.
Officers found Webb four hours later, sleeping in a Jeep Cherokee at a stoplight at 92nd Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard.
No one was injured in either robbery.
Following Wednesday night’s arrest, Webb was taken back to the Jefferson County jail.
