COLORADO SPRINGS — A woman was killed when she was run over by her pickup truck.
Police said the woman had put her vehicle in reverse gear Friday but had difficulty releasing the parking brake. Investigators said she got out, and the truck rolled after she used both hands to release the brake.
The woman was pinned under the front axle.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reported that firefighters used inflatable air bags to lift the vehicle off the woman, whose name was not released by police Saturday.
