Scott Anderson, founder of Denver’s Warrior Academy Yoga, is doing his part to carry on the mission of John Feal, who worked tirelessly for years to get benefits to Sept. 11 first responders.
This morning, his Yoga Rocks the Park event will raise funds for the FealGood Foundation, which promotes public awareness of the catastrophic health effects suffered by those who responded to the terror attacks 10 years ago.
“A lot of people around the country wish they could have been there and helped during 9/11,” Anderson said. “This is a way to help now.”
The event, planned for 9:30 a.m. to noon in Denver’s City Park, costs $15 and features high-power yoga with live soundtrack by DJ Mada.
