PUEBLO — An intoxicated 23-year-old man was killed and three female passengers were seriously injured early Saturday morning when his speeding car crashed into a guardrail on an Interstate 25 exit ramp and rolled.
Four people inside the man’s silver 2000 Toyota Camry, a male and three females, were taken to Parkview Hospital. All three females were in serious condition.
The driver, who was partially ejected from the car, had been drinking and was speeding, according to Pueblo police spokesman Sgt. Steve Zittel. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Camry rolled into the eastbound lanes of the U.S. 50 Bypass and collided with a maroon 1996 GMC Yukon driven by a woman who had three warrants for her arrest. She was arrested after being treated for minor injuries.
