ASPEN — A Pitkin County search-and-rescue crew flying over Pyramid Peak looking for the body of a Dillon man who fell to his death Saturday will resume their recovery efforts today. According to Pitkin County sheriff’s Deputy Jason Kasper, the 41-year-old man’s climbing partner reported the fall around 4:30 p.m. The climbers had been south of the 14,018-foot Pyramid Peak, near Thunder Pyramid. One climber fell over the east side of the ridge. His companion was able to climb out and call for help from the Maroon Bells substation.
