Police arrested one man and are looking for a woman who allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint in Boulder early this morning and then bragged about the robbery.
Around 2 a.m., Elijah Belizare Daniel Bravo, 20, allegedly approached the victim near 10th and Pleasant streets, and asked him for a cigarette, according to a news release from the Boulder Police Department.
The victim gave Bravo a cigarette. Bravo then pulled out a gun and pointed it at the man demanding money.
When the man said he had no money, Bravo and a woman ran away.
Shortly after, the victim overheard a large group of men talking about how they had beaten up a man and pulled a gun on him.
The man then called police and reported the robbery.
Officers later found Bravo near University and 10th streets and arrested him. Bravo was not carrying a gun at the time of his arrest, but police later found a gun they believe was used in the robbery.
Bravo faces one count of aggravated robbery and one count of felony menacing.
Police are still looking for 23-year-old Rose Garcia, who they are calling a possible suspect.
Garcia is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 108 pounds, reddish-blonde hair and a possible piercing in her bottom lip.
Investigators are also looking for a group of men who may have spoken with Bravo after the alleged attack.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Boulder Police Department’s tip line at 303-441-1974.
