Friends of a woman who died Tuesday after being dragged by a light- rail train gathered around a makeshift memorial near the scene Wednesday afternoon to pay tribute to her.
Jessica “Jessa” Lubken, 26, of Denver was killed near the intersection of Welton and 24th streets.
“Jessa was surrounded by love,” said Samantha McDermott. “She was the smile on your face.”
Lubken, a bartender, had worked at Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret downtown, among other jobs.
