Denver police are investigating what caused a two-car rollover accident that sent two people to the hospital this morning.
At 8:20 a.m., officers were called to the intersection of Speer Boulevard and Larimer Street on a report of accident, said Detective John White, a spokesman for the Denver Police Department.
After arriving, officers found two crumpled vehicles in the intersection. An SUV had apparently rolled several times.
Two people were taken to a nearby hospital. Injuries were not life-threatening.
Details about the accident and the names of the people taken to the hospital were not immediately known.
Morning commuters are being directed around the accident at 14th and Larimer streets.
