COLORADO SPRINGS — Police on Monday named the victim in a fatal shooting last week as Thornton resident Oscar Frias, 34.
Frias died of multiple gunshot wounds outside an apartment complex Thursday night. Witnesses said two men were fighting before gunfire ensued.
Police are looking for Roy Saldivar, 41, in connection with the shooting. He is considered armed and dangerous. He is wanted on a charge of murder with extreme indifference.
Saldivar has an extensive criminal history in El Paso County.
